Kenyan musician BlvckMoon is a self-taught artist that uses music to uplift the heart, mind, and spirit. In her words, “It’s in the expression and inspiration of the true self that we find resonance and sight of how connected we are.”
BlvckMoon categorizes her music as independent, experimental, and afro-fused. She released her debut EP, “Hertz,” in October 2018; an ethereal single, “Breezy,” in partnership with Djae, in November 2020; the Afro-fused “Maua,” in partnership with L3GS, in March 2021; the Afro-fused “Mekatilili,” in partnership with Saint Evo, in July 2021; and most recently, “Karma,” in partnership with Saint Evo [March 2022].
