Umu Obiligbo is a well-known Nigerian highlife duet. The group consists of two blood brothers, Ifeanyi Okpuozor Obiligbo and Chukwuemeka Akunwafor Obiligbo who was born and raised in Anambra State, Eastern Nigeria.
Umu Obiligbo acquired their highlife music profession from their late grandpa Chief Ezigbo Obiligbo, a renowned Ekpili music star in the 1970s, and their father Chief Akunwafor Ajana Obiligbo, also a popular Highlife singer.
The music duo has established itself as one of the country’s most accomplished highlife performers, having collaborated with heavyweights such as Davido, Phyno, Victor AD, and Flavour.
