Godwin Chukwuebuka, widely known as OG TEE, is a Nigerian singer, recording artist, songwriter, and performer. Born on May 11, 1998, in Lagos State, Nigeria, OG TEE spent most of his formative years in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, living with his grandparents. His passion for music began at an early age, leading him to record his first freestyle cover, “Jabulani,” to YCEE’s hit song “Jagaban.”

Emerging as an artist who blends Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, and Dancehall, OG TEE has crafted a unique musical identity. His official debut single, “SHOW SAMPLE S.S,” was released in May 2024. The track is a masterclass in Afro-fused trap, combining bouncy beats with trap-inspired rhythms, creating a sound that feels both innovative and familiar. This was followed by “KITE MESSAGE” in March 2024, a heartfelt track that unfolds like a personal letter, offering insight into OG TEE’s journey of transforming despair into hope. His third single, “ROTIMI,” released in July 2024, further solidified his growing catalog during his debut year as an emerging artist.

The loss of his grandfather in 2022 became a turning point for OG TEE, motivating him to fully pursue music. He credits inspiration from Nigerian artists OdumoduBlvck, Blaqbonez, and Psycho YP. Initially known as OGT, an acronym for “Original Gangster Thahustla,” he later adopted the name OG TEE to reflect his evolving artistic persona. Throughout 2024, he has consistently delivered quality music and good vibes, building anticipation for more tracks from his two EPs, “NO.11” and “SOS – Song of Solemn.”

OG TEE’s upbringing in Delta State was filled with sports and vibrant experiences. He was part of the first 11 line-up for his school football team at Daughters of Divine Love Catholic School and graduated as one of the top three Art students in his class.
