Deon Boakye is a Singer, Song Writer, and Graphic Designer born on 9th March in Kumasi (Ashanti region) Ghana.
Inspired to do music from the love for it and passion for music in his family. At the age of 7, his parents signed him up to study music at church and he further developed an interest in music.
Having worked with many renowned Ghanaian artists like Yaa Pono, FlowkingStone, StrongMan, Medikal, and others, he’s best known for his hit track Allewa which features Cabum, and Guyguy with Kofi Kinaata, Kojo-Cue, and Cool Joe. He’s also accredited for other singles like Dubai, New Year, and so on.
The fine boy tactics singer is a graduate of Takoradi Polytechnic and holds an HND in Graphic Design. Deon Boakye took artiste of the year twice in a row in the year 2014 and 2015 SRC GPARK AWARDS respectively.
He believes he was born to do music, and should he be brought back in time, will still choose to be a musician.
