Victor Chinedu Onyewuch, better known by his stage name Charass, is a Nigerian musician with a unique voice and a sophisticated musical attitude.
Charass, an Afro-pop musician from Mbaise LAG in Imo State, is a talented performer. His enthusiasm for music began at a young age, with his mother playing a key role in his development. As a high school student in Jos, he began to intone.
In 2014, he made his formal debut under the ‘Matured Money Minds Music’ label, which is run by renowned player Mikel Obi, and released his first single, ‘Tininitanana,’ as well as ‘Gbege,’ all of which received positive reviews.
He made his way up to the field with his first huge collaboration, “Coco Butter,” which featured pop singer Davido and famous rapper Phyno.
The youthful artist now has a slew of hit singles, including his recent album, “VOICE OF OLIVE,” which is causing a stir and is well-received by his admirers.
His smash single “Cha Cha” with Flavour was produced by The Melody Music, whose sound has been described as a melting pot of Afro-fusion, Afrobeats, and Highlife. He’s collaborated with famous stars like Cynthia Morgan, Davido, and Tekno, among others.
“Man No Be God,” ”Jikere,” and “Smile,” are just a few of his latest offerings.
