Lisbon’s child of African heritage, DJEFF, has fused the sounds that helped shape his career as an artist. DJEFF brings us a sound often defined as “Afro Tech”.
His sets embrace all shades of house music, and the best tracks from Africa, Europe, America, and even Asia may be heard in his musical compositions. For the well-known Portuguese/Angolan DJ/producer, growing up in Lisbon meant being exposed to European and American pop and soul music, but living in an African home meant a tight connection to the origins.
By means of his own label, Kazukuta Djeff offers music with a soulful direction and a style that combines African origins while fusing them with global house.
