Mohamed Lamrana Bah, better known by his stage name Dallas Bantan, is a Sierra Leonean dancehall musician. He was born on July 19, 1986, in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and attended Freetown’s Saint Edwards high school.
At a young age, Dallas Bantan has commanded attention for his skills in the field of singing, which he loves to accomplish with his heart and soul.
He began his musical career at the age of 19 but was thrust into the spotlight at the age of 23. He has shaped dancehall music in his own unique style, as well as carving out a position for himself in the African music business. His modest and modest way of life has earned him the title of “epitome of humility.”
His debut album, “Brand new style,” was issued in 2007, while his second album, “Dancehall King,” was produced in 2008. He took a break in 2009 before returning in 2011 with the smash tune “Suck my booby” on the P square’s ‘chop my money’ beat. This song spent many weeks in the top 5 in Sierra Leone, and its popularity spread to neighbouring states such as Liberia and Guinea, where it also charted.
Dallas has multiple hit singles to his credit, garnering him international and local honours such as the Lake International Best Dancehall Musician award, as well as being nominated to perform as a guest artist at several Sierra Leoneans and West African events both at home and abroad.
