Habib Tamu, better known as Skillz 8figure, is a rising Ghanaian and Sierra Leonean alternative trap-afrobeat and hip-hop artist whose sound is diverse and breaks all creative boundaries, and his songs also explore different genres and ideas.

Although Skillz 8Figure has been active for some time, his sophomore project and first album, “After Dark,” just made him a household name. The Sierra Leone-born, Accra-based artist attributes his nomadic lifestyle to the wide range of influences from which he draws inspiration for his music. He cites the US trap scene as one of his earliest musical experiments and memos that, no matter where he is in the world, afro-elements will always serve as the foundation of his sound.
