Wally Seck was born in Dakar into a family deeply rooted in music and griot traditions.
He is the son of the late Thione Seck, a legendary Senegalese artist and former member of Orchestra Baobab. Growing up within a hereditary griot lineage strongly shaped his musical identity and performance style.
