Esosa Douglas Osemwengie, better known by his stage name Sossick, is a Nigerian music producer who was born and raised in Lagos to Edo state parents.
He earned a certificate in surveying and geo-informatics from the Yaba School of Technology in Lagos.
Sossick began experimenting with music at a young age after growing up in a ‘home full with music,’ and later joined the ‘D Kru’ music group as a hip-hop musician.
After the group disbanded, he went into production and rose to notoriety in 2005 as the producer of Gino’s smash single, ‘No be God.’ Since then, Sossick has collaborated with a number of well-known performers, including Shank, Tiwa Savage, Eva, and Dipp, singing the hook and chorus on occasion.
He currently runs his own record label, Classick Tunes, and is a multi-award winning producer in Nigeria’s music industry.
