Yuri da Cunha, dubbed the “Showman from Angola,” is a true celebrity whose hypnotizing dance and mesmerizing charisma have made him a fan favorite.

His unique musical style, which includes lyrics and instruments, is based on Angolan rhythms such as Semba, Kazukuta, Kuduro, and Kizomba.

Since his debut, Yuri da Cunha hasn’t stopped delivering hits. With his track “Atchu Tchutcha,” Yuri da Cunha became the first Angolan musician to win the African “best duet” at the MTV awards in June 2014.
