With her roots in the East Rand and based in Cape Town, Ipeleng started off by posting covers on YouTube, SoundCloud, Instagram, and finally Twitter.
This resulted in the publication of original and joint projects, also including her third EP, which draws inspiration from her renditions of songs by SZA and Jessie Reyez and has a sound that is midway between pop and R&B while the production never overwhelms her vocals.
