Double whose real name is Ugwuanyi Daniel Obidii Chuwkunwike is a Nigerian afrobeat artist from Enugu state. He is from a Christian family of four and had his education in Imo state (FUTO).
The artist has been linked to collaborations with a few top artists. Double claimed his childhood experiences shaped him to be who he is today.
Growing up in an environment with peer groups and pressure that affects one negatively, he saw it as an inspiration to better his craft.
According to him, he was inspired by Fela Kuti, Davido, Buckwylla, Burna Boy, Olamide and Jamaican artists to do music. Double’s thoughts on the growth of Afrobeats are for everyone to understand the tricks of the black sound and spread the work in Africa and beyond.
Ugwuanyi Daniel has been introduced to the industry with room to improve himself. His debut single “Bounce” seems to be gaining massive traction amongst Afrobeat listeners.
